Greenest Governor Ever – Thank you Governor Schwarzenegger

Greenest Governor Ever – Thank you Governor Schwarzenegger

Yesterday in Los Angeles California at the Governors Climate Summit Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger was inspecting the latest developments in renewable energies.
Eco and Eco San Diego Solar was showing our “Greenest Governor Ever” the quality collectors from AbSol.
Mr Schwarzenegger was impressed with the craftsmanship and low cost of solar collectors made in Austria (his place of upbringing) right here in California.
We explained that we currently store several hundreds of solar water heater collectors in San Diego and San Francisco. Ready to be installed.
Impressive is that each collector can offset as much carbon emissions that lead to greenhouse gases as a small car.
Now that’s like getting rid of your car and riding a bike to work…

Just by heating your water with a solar collector instead of burning gas or electricity each and every day.
Schwarzenegger said: We need some real muscle to get into ACTION. He said that is why he is here. To bring the muscle into renewable energies and low carbon emission for a cleaner air in California. We are ready for ACTION. Are you? We hope so…
The California governor looks to Roosevelt, the great Republican conservationist, as inspiration for his mission to make his state, and the GOP, leaders on the environment. Schwarzenegger signed a bill into law to cut the state’s greenhouse-gas emissions 25 percent by 2020 and followed with an executive order requiring a dramatic drop in the carbon content of transportation fuels. He has vowed to fight attempts to reopen the California coast to offshore drilling.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke also about how green technology can be the catalyst for growing the state’s economy.

“One hundred fifty years ago, it was the industrial revolution that changed the world and ushered in a new era of prosperity. Now, today, the green revolution will do exactly the same.”

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger remarks on third anniversary of the signing of AB 32: “Being a leader in clean energy standards has made California a leader in clean energy investment and green jobs. In the last three years, more than $6 billion in venture capital has been pumped into California’s economy, making us the national leader in the number of clean businesses. Green jobs have also skyrocketed, growing 10 times faster in California than in other areas. And the growth is expected to continue. According to a recent study, California is on track to more than double its power generated by solar panel installations in 2009.”
