Thermal Solar heating systems

Generally, very high efficiency energy conversions can now be obtained at significantly lower source temperatures and — when developed and combined with advancements in new solar thermal evacuated-tube collector designs, can finally provide true feasibility for solar cooling and power. See our San Diego Solar office for more information on how to save energy and heat your pool in San Diego with a
Eco & Eco solar heater.

Solar heating systems are quite simple . They are generally composed of solar thermal collectors covered with dark glass, a fluid system to move the heat from the collector to its point of usage, and a reservoir to stock the heat water for subsequent use. The systems may be used to heat domestic hot water or a swimming pool, or to provide heat for a heating circuit.

According to the United States Department of Energy ‘www1.eere.energy.gov’ solar heating harnesses the power of the sun to provide solar thermal energy for solar hot water, solar space heating and solar pool heaters.

Eco and Eco water heating system saves energy, reduces utility costs, and produces clean energy. To help more Americans benefit from solar systems, the U.S. Energy Policy Act implemented a 30% tax credit for consumers who install solar water heating systems.
For information about the Department of Energy and its programs contact the U.S. Department of Energy 1000 Independence Ave., SW – Washington, DC 20585 The.Secretary@hq.doe.gov   In many Southern climates in America, a solar water heating system can provide a very high percentage (50 to 75%) of domestic hot water energy. Even in Northern climates, with the winter sun, a savings from 30-40% in your electric bill can be had.

Compare solar to gas:
So how clean is Natural Gas?
Well it is one of the cleanest burning things known to energy production…but Southern California smog regulators filed suit against the state of California. This is to block the importation of a type of liquefied natural gas known as “hot gas”. Hot Gas burns at a higher temperature and creates more smog-forming emissions than the domestic version. This can be used in gas-powered power plants that are sprouting up all over Southern California.
It seemed it was being outlawed in So.Cal. But now plans are to buy power from Mexico where US companies are planning on building hot-gas-power-plants.
So, Thank God for solar!
