San Quintin Baja Mexico

Solar electricity is essential in central Baja Mexico, south of Ensenada, where the tran peninsular highway leaves the coast, it takes with it access to the federal power grid.

An exciting new business with many years of experience is in town, ECO & ECO is represented by Tim Talbot to bring alternative energy resources to the San Quintin Valley.
As we work to promote sustainable development in this beautiful region, we are fortunate to be partners with ECO & ECO’s 20 years of experience in solar energy and commitment to service and value.

In San Vicente, Colonet, Camalú, Vicente Guerrero, San Quintín, El Rosario and south, the many spectacular beach areas are without electrical service. This perceived disadvantage can now be looked at as a benefit for anyone wanting to own or develop beach properties in this area. Here are several reasons why:

1. A Home on the desirable, pristine beaches away from the main highway where solar and or wind power is a must
will be is only a fraction of the price in comparison to a house that is connected to the Mexican energy company CFE.
Sometimes the cost of connecting your home to the grid in Mexico excedes the complete solar system price that will produce virtually maintenance free electricity for the next 20 years.

2. The lack of electrical service is no longer the challenge that it was just a few years ago. Technological developments in solar and wind energy are making “off the grid” living both affordable and easy to accomplish.

3. Many buyers have been waiting for the electrification of the beach areas because they don’t want an investment in solar to become redundant in the future. Now it is possible to enjoy beach living with solar power, and benefit further with either an “off the grid” future or a “grid connected” future that may pay them for unused solar generated electricity.

4. Whether electricity is available or not, solar makes more sense than ever. “Living green” is becoming a by-word for more and more people as the benefits to both the environment and personal health are better understood. People are looking for places that are planned and developed around good, sustainable, eco-friendly principles.

We are located at Km 192 on the east side of the tran peninsular highway, between San Quintin and Lazaro Cardenas. Look for the RE/MAX balloon on the roof. Shown on the map blow.
